Barrington Stage Company appoints Bryan-Keyth Wilson marketing director

PITTSFIELD Barrington Stage Company has announced the appointment of Bryan-Keyth Wilson as Marketing Director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bryan-Keyth into our fold. He understands that successful marketing is not about sales, but rather, connection,” said Managing Director Meredith Lynsey Schade. “His demonstrated experience in marketing and his deeply creative approach to innovation and collaboration will support us as we work to connect more deeply with our community.”

“I am thrilled to join the talented team at Barrington Stage Company as the new Director of Marketing, and I am eager to contribute to the exciting work,” said Bryan-Keyth Wilson. “I look forward to collaborating with the exceptional leadership of [Artistic Director] Alan Paul and Meredith Lynsey Schade and to continue delivering memorable, inclusive, and inspiring theatrical experiences to our audiences.”

Wilson is a noted multi-hyphenate/ award-winning playwright and arts education advocate. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the forefront of every project he takes on. He started producing theatre Off-Off-Broadway at The Variety Cafe at Rockefeller Center with shows such as Pamlet and The Subway Series. Wilson studied Musical Theatre with a Dance emphasis at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. Wilson won four literary awards for his choreopoem FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom aint enuff and produced a sold-out showcase Off-Broadway at Theatre Row for the 2022 Downtown Urban Arts Festival, where his show won Best Audience and a world premiere at The Fulton Theatre in Lancaster, PA.

Wilson is passionate about connecting audiences with meaningful theatrical experiences. With his deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends, he brings a strategic and data-driven approach to building successful brands. His expertise in arts leadership has also equipped him with the skills to manage and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a track record of developing innovative marketing campaigns, forging partnerships with key stakeholders, and delivering exceptional results. He is following in the footsteps of his parents, Lawrence & Shirley Wilson, who believed in a just and equitable society. He is dedicated to making the arts accessible to all and committed to being a voice for the voiceless.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC) is an award-winning theatre located in Pittsfield, MA, in the heart of the Berkshires. Other notable productions include the world premiere of Christopher Demos-Brown’s American Son (BSC 2016; Broadway 2018); Mark St. Germain’s Freud’s Last Session (BSC 2009; Off-Broadway 2010-2012); Leonard Bernstein, Comden & Green’s On the Town (BSC 2013; Broadway 2014, four Tony Award nominations); Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Company, starring Aaron Tveit (2017); and West Side Story in honor of Leonard Bernstein and Jerome Robbins’ centenaries (2018).

BSC develops and commissions new work with two programs: PlayWorks, which supports the creation of new plays, and the Musical Theatre Lab, which develops new musicals. Since 1995, BSC has produced 45 new works, 22 of which have moved to New York and major US regional theatres.

Barrington Stage Company has ushered in an exciting new era under the leadership of Artistic Director Alan Paul and Managing Director Meredith Lynsey Schade.
