SPAC Announces Return of Summer SPACtacular Fundraiser for 60th Anniversary Season

Saratoga Performing Arts Center will launch its 60th anniversary summer season with the return of its annual Summer SPACtacular fundraiser on Friday, May 29.

Now in its fourth year, the event will also mark a decade of leadership under CEO Elizabeth Sobol. The fundraiser supports SPAC’s year-round programming, educational initiatives, and community outreach efforts across New York’s Capital Region and beyond.

The evening-long celebration will take place across the SPAC grounds from 5 to 11:30 p.m. and will feature live music, culinary tastings, cocktails and zero-proof beverages, fireworks, and a dance party on the venue’s historic stage.

“Our Summer SPACtacular has become a joyful tradition — one that brings our community together to celebrate the start of summer while directly supporting the work that happens on our stages and throughout our region,” Sobol said. “As we mark SPAC’s 60th anniversary and my 10th year with this extraordinary organization, this evening feels especially meaningful, honoring a remarkable legacy while looking ahead to the future, and inviting guests to experience the energy, creativity, and connection that define SPAC at its best.”

Three Ticket Options Available

The event includes three admission tiers: Party Pass, Premium Pass, and All-Access Pass.

The Party Pass includes tastings from regional restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries, along with live music by Capital Region party band Road Soda Pop. Guests will also have access to the Pavilion Lounge, featuring zero-proof drinks by Bars without Boundaries, student artwork displays, and a sealed-bid auction. The evening concludes with fireworks and a dance party featuring DJ Trumastr on SPAC’s stage.

Premium Pass and All-Access Pass holders will receive additional access to a full bar, appetizer station, and multi-course dinner prepared by Mazzone Hospitality in a private outdoor setting. Both tiers also include post-dinner desserts and digestifs on The Pines Terrace, as well as participation in a paddle raise supporting SPAC’s mission and anniversary initiatives.

The sold-out All-Access Pass also features an opening reception with craft cocktails, hors d’oeuvres from Franklin Square Market, and live music by David Wong and Stephanie Price on the amphitheater stage.
