Whether you’re a first-time or frequent visitor to Art Omi, there’s plenty to learn on our seasonal public tours of the Sculpture & Architecture Park. This tour provides insights and information about the artworks and architectural pavilions in the Sculpture & Architecture Park, as well as information about Art Omi’s various programs. Teen Camp: If These Walls Could Talk – Activating Bathrooms as Art Spaces

Art Omi: Education is offering an exciting, week-long Teen Camp focused on activating the Education Pavilions bathrooms as art spaces. Led by teaching artists Mayuko Fujino and Bryan Zimmerman, participants will create a collaborative, site-specific artwork that incorporates methods of producing large-scale public art. Students will consider how public art can play a role in normalizing conversations around health equity, mental health, youth advocacy, and other related topics.

Explore & More Interactive Tour for Families

This high-energy, inquiry-based tour engages visitors with children in a multi-sensory experience that focuses on the interactive works in the Sculpture and Architecture Park. Participants will use touch, sound, and smell to connect with and become attuned to their physical selves and the surrounding environment. Geared towards families with children ages 4-12, this guided adventure allows for flexibility in exploration and fosters discussions that stem from participants’ questions and observations. This tour is intended to spark creative conversations and to get the body moving through a landscape of contemporary art! Costs $12 per participant, free for ages 3 and under.
