Saturday, December 16, at 2 p.m. at the Federated Church on Route 2 (175 Main Street) in Charlemont, Mass., a program of community holiday spirit, “Holiday Tributes,” will be presented, featuring Soprano Tinky Weisbland and pianist Jerry Noble. They will perform songs made famous by a variety of people including Gene Autry, Eartha Kitt, Stevie Wonder, and Elvis Presley.Singing along is of course encouraged.If it snows on the 16th (a lowering thought), we’ll move the program to the following day (same time, same place).

The South Williamstown Community Association (SWCA) invites the public to our annual Holiday Tree Lighting at The Store at Five Corners at 4 New Ashford Road (Route 7) on Sunday evening, December 8th at 5 p.m. There will be carols to sing, wonderful refreshments provided by The Store at Five Corners, a visit from Santa, activities for kids, and more!
