Ashfield Fall Festival

October 7, 2023 @ 10:00 am October 8, 2023 @ 5:00 pm EDT

History

The Ashfield Fall Festival began in 1970. While it has grown since that time, the festival remains

  1. A celebration of Ashfield
  2. A showcase for Ashfield artisans and businesses
  3. A place for Ashfield service organizations to raise funds
  4. A fundraiser for the Ashfield Citizens’ Scholarship Fund
  5. An opportunity for Ashfield youth to develop and use creative, social and business skills
  6. Getting Here

Ashfield is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. map

From the Rt 91 take 116 North 13 miles to the center of Ashfield.

From the north, follow Rt 112 South from Rt 2 (Mohawk Trail) for 10 miles and turn left on Rt 116 South (Main St).

From the south and west, follow Rt 9 to Goshen and turn left onto Rt 112 N.  Follow Rt 112 for 5 miles and turn right on Rt 116 South (Main St).

Parking

Parking is only allowed on the south side of State Route 116 (Main Street) and not in the center of town. The primary parking area is on the east end of Main Street, where donations to the Ashfield Fall Festival Scholarship Fund are gratefully accepted. Other town organizations host parking areas for a fee/donation to their organizations: Ashfield Historical Society and Ashfield Community Preschool have lots on Baptist Corner Road; Ashfield Trails and Parks Commission host parking at Upper Belding Park on the west end of Main Street/Rte. 116, closer to Route 112. When approaching town, please drive carefully as there are many pedestrians. A limited number of handicapped parking spots are marked on South Street; there is also an area in front of the fire station where passengers with limited mobility can be dropped off, with the driver then proceeding to designated fair parking.

Dogs

This festival, which takes place on both public and private property, attracts large crowds. We ask that you leave your furry friends at home for the safety and comfort of all. Thank you.

ATMs

Cash is available at Neighbor’s store and we will also be featuring ATMs in the main parking lot and the town common.
