Local and regional food organizations have until June 5 to apply for a new round of federal funding through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Local Agriculture Market Program.
The USDA announced $32.4 million in available grants through the program, known as LAMP, which supports producer-to-consumer marketing, local and regional food markets, and food enterprises that connect producers with consumers and institutions.
Three Funding Tracks for USDA LAMP Grants 2026
The funding includes $27.68 million through the Farmers Market Promotion Program and the Local Food Promotion Program. The Farmers Market Promotion Program supports projects such as farmers markets, roadside stands, agritourism, community-supported agriculture programs, and online sales. The Local Food Promotion Program supports intermediaries such as shared-use kitchens, food hubs, and food incubators.
Another $4.71 million is available through Regional Food System Partnerships, which support public-private partnerships connecting producers, processors, intermediaries, institutional markets, and institutional food service operations.
More information is available through USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service grant pages. The application deadline is June 5, 2026.
