Led by vocalist Ngonda Badila, aka Lady Moon, the Brooklyn-based collective Lady Moon & The Eclipse features artists originally from the Republic of the Congo, France, Japan, New York, and Chicago. Together, they form a soulful gumbo of R&B and Afrobeat-influenced music that The New York Times calls “neosoul with a cross-genre bentÖ charmingly retro with rich harmonies.” The band has toured extensively across the United States, opening for Kamasi Washington, Amanda Palmer, Maxi Priest, and Tank and the Bangas.
