Wanda Houston hosts the second monthly ‘episode’ of the variety/sketch comedy show The Berserkshires. The lineup this month includes Rikke Borge (yes, Victor’s kid), Johanne Kesten (yes, Rikke’s kid), singer/songwriter Elizabeth Berliner (aka Jaane Doe), and Luna Faun, doing her famous snake dance… now that’s entertainment!

Suitable for families (though not dumbed-down), it’s old-school fun in a brisk and intimate format. The Bernstein Theater, part of the Shakespeare & Co. campus, is a warm and welcoming venue. Audience members are urged to come a little early and enjoy refreshments in the Lobby Cafe…doors open at 6:30. Or enjoy dinner at one of the many top-tier eateries in Lenox. The show begins at 7:30, and runs a bit over an hour, with a 10 minute intermission. Early enough to do something else nearby after the show, or just go home and binge on the latest streaming phenom.

April 29th will be the third and final show for this spring, featuring singer/songwriter Tim Moore, and newscaster/actor/nutritionist Benita Zahn.

The show is produced by Columbia Arts Team, a 501c3 non-profit, whose mission is to showcase area performers. Sandy McKnight directs. General Admission tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance at tinyurl.com/berserkshires.
