SANDISFIELD, MA – Sandisfield Arts Center is pleased to bring the popular art of staged storytelling to the Berkshires with a curated Story Slam on Saturday October 21 at 4:00pm. Local teacher and Moth StorySlam winner, Sheela Clary will be the Emcee for the evening.
The theme for this event is Rescue. Storytellers are encouraged to contact Sheela at email@example.com to pitch their 5-7 minute story ideas. Storytellers will be selected beforehand and should rehearse stories for length and content.

Sheela Clary was born and raised in South Berkshire county, and is a long time language teacher and grant writer for youth-serving nonprofits. As a writer, with an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, she’s interested in education, issues of inequality, and literature. She is a Moth Story Slam winner and Grand Slam participant, and runs, with Joey Chernila, story nights at Fuel Bistro in Great Barrington. She lives in West Stockbridge with her husband and three children.
