Stephentown Memorial Library Invites the Public to its Annual Meeting 4/18
April 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

STEPHENTOWN, NY —The Director and Board of Trustees of the Stephentown Memorial Library (SML) invite the public to attend their virtual Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 18, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting, which will be held on Zoom, provides an opportunity to thank a number of community collaborators who, along with the library, continued to find ways to meet the community’s needs throughout the pandemic. It will also offer the opportunity for voting on the minutes of last year’s meeting, and on new trustee appointments. For more information or to register for the meeting, visit our website or call us at 518-733-5750.
Jennifer Peabody, the incoming SML board president, says, “The pandemic brought many challenges. But it also brought opportunities to collaborate. It really drove home the idea that we’re all in this together.”
Founded in 1949 in honor of the local men and women who served in the armed forces, the Stephentown Memorial Library (SML) has been a community resource for nearly 75 years. Our collection includes more than 14,000 books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, e-books, graphic novels, and other media for children and adults. As one of the 29 members of the Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS), the SML is also able to request items from other member collections. The SML is open to all town residents, and works to empower our community by offering free access to a variety of information, programs, and services.
