Roots Rising’s Hoedown Throwdown!
October 4 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for Roots Rising’s first annual HOEDOWN THROWDOWN! This will be a celebration of Roots Rising’s work to empower youth and build community through food and farming, and a fundraiser to support our exciting vision for things to come!
The event will take place on October 4th, 2019 on the beautiful grounds of Hancock Shaker Village.
6:30pm-8:00pm:
-Enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres and meet Roots Rising’s phenomenal Crew members.
-Taste the menu of our new food truck (designed and prepared by Chef Maggie of Canyon Ranch!).
-Participate in a raffle with wonderful prizes- such as a stay at the beautiful Lake House Inn in Lee, MA!
-Learn about the impact of this work from Roots Rising’s Co-Directors and Crew.
8:00pm-10:00pm:
-Pull on your boots and hit the floor for an ol’ time contra dance!
Tickets:
Standard: $75
Under 40 (limited availability): $50
-Ticket fee includes food, live music, and dance! Cash bar.
-All proceeds will support meaningful work for Pittsfield teens and a strong local food system!
