Join your neighbors for a fun, free, and family-friendly zero-waste workshop! These workshops are part of a series that cover a whole range of topics from reducing waste at the source, to the kitchen, to the whole home. You can attend one, some, or all of the workshops in any order. Each workshop includes a DIY component with pre-loved materials to kick-start your zero-waste lifestyle.
During this workshop, which is the first of a series, you will learn about the dangers of plastic on human health, and how you can reduce your use of plastic and other waste before you bring it home. This class Includes a DIY project creating a macrame veggie bag using a pre-loved T-shirt. Bring your own t-shirt to add a personal touch to your project.
Registration is not required, but is preferred. To register, please email Mary at [email protected] and let her know the date of the workshop that you are interested in. Please share this and all of our workshops with your friends and community!
