NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —The NAMA Prom Committee, a group of passionate North Adams residents, have announced the return of the annual NAMA Prom at the Elks Lodge on 100 Eagle Street. The 21+ semi-formal event will be held on July 30, with doors at 8:00 p.m. and running until 1:30 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10, cash or card, or through Eventbrite for $5 while Early Bird supplies last.
This year, the adult prom will time travel you back to the 90’s to celebrate all the glamour of the decade that changed our lives forever. While semi-formal prom wear is encouraged, dressing to the theme of the prom is also accepted.
NAMA Prom will feature entertainment from Berkshires-based DJs iamsam and Elixer, who will be spinning all your 90’s favorites all night. Take a break from dancing to get your picture taken at the photo booth, visit the Elks cash bar, or head upstairs to the 90s nostalgia room. First 50 people through the door will receive 90s BINGO cards with the chance to win a prize.
There will be two events where attendees will have the chance to purchase $5 tickets outside of Eventbrite, or enter to win free a free ticket. DJs iamsam and Elixer will be hosting a prom promo party on July 8th at the Pitcher’s Mound Pub on Ashland Street in North Adams. On July 20th Common Folk Artist Collective will be running a 90’s Game Show Night at 33 Main Street in North Adams.
For the past 10 years, NAMA Prom has been an annual social event that provides a fun and safe atmosphere for many North Adams residents. Attendees come from all corners of the county, as well as surrounding states, to have a fun night and maybe make some new friends. Advance tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite under NAMA Prom.
