Winstanley brings home advertising awards for wine label design, specialty items, and national print ads
COHOES, N.Y. — Creative agency Winstanley Partners highlighted its strength in packaging design this month, garnering four ADDY awards at the annual competition.
Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation and hosted by the Albany AdClub, the ADDY awards honor creative work in the fields of marketing and advertising in its many forms, including print design, television, web, radio production, and elements of advertising such as logo design and photography.
Ralph Frisina, Creative Director at Winstanley Partners summed up what the awards mean to the agency.
“Not only are the ADDYs a great night out for our staff,” explained Frisina, “it’s an opportunity to see what’s resonating with audiences in the advertising space, whether it’s our work or that of our colleagues. This year, our entries in packaging design, trade-show giveaways, and creative for clients in the outdoor recreation space showed particularly well, validating that our long-held strengths are still very relevant today.”
Winstanley Partners, based in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, earned its awards for work completed in 2014 including labels for two new wines from Balderdash Cellars of Pittsfield, Mass.; print advertisements created for Yo-Zuri America, Inc., a purveyor of high quality fishing lures, and the ‘Winstanley Fish Call,’ a self-promotional item used at the 2014 iCAST (International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades) show.
